Come, O thou Traveller unknown
(Charles Wesley, Wrestling Jacob)
Bits'n'Bob-stones
This is my other main website, which is devoted to Watership Down. The centrepiece of the site is Frithaes! An Introduction to Colloquial Lapine, which does exactly what it says on the tin. The Methrahessi translation program is also available from here. The site also includes an account (with plenty of photos) of a trip to the real Down, Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps of half a dozen important WD locations, a few essays, the odd review and a sprinkling of general silliness!
My LiveJournal
Here you can find me yattering on at length about all sorts of things, both furry and not, with many other people (also both furry and not). If for some bizarre reason you want to know how I behave outside of the confines of my websites, then - at your own risk - feel free to drop by.
Cybernet3000
Officially entitled Laurelin Taur, this site is the work of a Canadian feline friend. The site has recently undergone a fairly major overhaul, and now contains quite a lot of info about Cybernet himself (there's plenty I didn't know in there!
), the good ol' Furvey, a couple of drawings, but most of all writing. There are several pieces of fiction, and also a quite exceptional essay, Season One: 2003 about how Cybernet came to terms with both his furriness and his sexuality over the space of a few months in 2003.
Eliki
Eliki is a snowkitten, and if you don't know what that is, then you'll have to read the explanation he provides! Eliki's site is notable for some wonderful artwork - if you could do with a bit of cheering up, then this is definitely the place to look.
The site also contains writing, Eliki's Furvey and a great deal of general feline furriness!
Entei-rah
Entei-rah is a fellow lapine fur, which is of course a major plus point in itself.
There really isn't any easy way to categorise his site, as all sorts of goodies are awaiting your perusal therein, but it's fair to say that if you're curious to know about how another lapine fur sees the world, then you'll be able to find out a lot more by visiting Entei-rah's site yourself than by reading my increasingly insane ramblings.
Rabbitswift
Rabbitswift is a spotted skunk/swift fox/fossa fur, and you don't get too many of those to the pound!
Here you'll find a nice selection of his poetry - Icarus would probably be my favourite - and also something about the fur himself, including his Furvey, which as yet is only available as an RTF file for download, but which he hopes will eventually be made available online.
Furrywelcome
Furrywelcome, as its name implies, is a community designed as a place where people who are new to the idea of furry, and/or who are coming to terms with the fact that they might be furs themselves, can find a supportive and safe environment in which to ask questions and discuss their feelings without having to worry about being put down for asking "stupid newbie questions" or being insulted by abusive posters. You don't have to be a fur to participate; anyone with a genuine interest in the subject is welcome. I do have to declare an interest here, in that I am one of the maintainers of this community.
Furtopia
Furtopia's forums are for many aspects of furry discussion, and the site has grown considerably in recent months (it now has over a thousand registered members). It's generally a pleasant and good humoured place, but the flip side of that is that those looking for deeper discussion may find it a little frustrating at times. You can have a serious conversation there, but it takes a bit of effort. Oh, and don't go near the place if you don't like virtual *hugs*, as the forums are absolutely infested with them!
UKFur
This is exactly what it sounds like - a group of furs from the UK. About 400 people are registered with the site now, although not all are active in the furry community. Not a lot actually happens on the site, and there's very little to it beyond the forums, but it's nice to be able to browse through the forums once in a while.
